Quick help

  • Getting started: Create an account, choose Core or Plus, create a collection, and add boxes or loose items. Photograph as you pack or put things away, print labels, then search or scan to find things later.
  • What counts as a container? In MoveAssist, a container is any box, tote, bin, or loose item you want to find later. Each container has its own photos and details and can be identified with a MoveAssist label. Containers are reusable. After unpacking, you can empty one, update its photos and details, and continue using the same label, or optionally print a new label if its printed information needs to change.
  • Labels: Labels identify containers on the shelf. QR codes always open the latest record, even if the printed label is older. Reprinting updates what appears on paper.
  • Scanning labels: To scan a MoveAssist label, tap the QR scan icon on the right side of the MoveAssist search bar, then align the label inside the camera frame. If Safari has trouble accessing your camera, open MoveAssist in Chrome or DuckDuckGo Browser and try again.
  • Photos and search: Photograph belongings so MoveAssist can use what is visible later. Search can use labels, notes, text in photos, detected objects, and — on Plus — Observations, Setups, and related household evidence. Scanning a label opens a container when you need to check what is inside.
  • Do I have to name or approve every item in my photos? No. Take photos as you go and keep moving. MoveAssist indexes the photos automatically so you can search for visible belongings later—without creating or approving an item-by-item inventory.
  • Household sharing: Members share collections, containers, and other household content available on your plan. Invite people from Settings who are helping organize your home.
  • Observations: Plus can save a household photo as an Observation so MoveAssist can use what was visible at that point in time as evidence later. No names, rooms, or item lists are required.
  • Setups: Plus users can save one or more reference photos as a named Setup to help remember and recreate an arrangement later. A Setup is a reference, not a permanent record of where objects belong.
  • Core vs Plus: Core helps you find what you packed with labeled containers, photos, and search. Plus includes Core and adds Observations, Setups, and the current search and intelligence features. Plan New Space is coming soon and is not available yet.
  • Billing: Core is $49.99 per year and renews annually until you cancel. Plus is $119.99 per year, includes Core, and renews annually until you cancel. Core subscribers can upgrade to Plus. Cancel in Settings → Manage billing. Access continues through the paid term. The 7-day money-back guarantee applies to your first subscription purchase. Upgrading from Core to Plus does not restart that window. Renewals are not covered. After a subscription ends you can still see, search, print, and export everything for 30 days. We then keep the household for 12 months, and you can export throughout. Already have a one-time plan? It's still yours.
