Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of MoveAssist LLC (“MoveAssist,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using MoveAssist, you agree to these Terms.

The service

MoveAssist is a digital household move organization tool and does not provide moving, storage, transportation, insurance, brokerage, legal, or claims services. The service may include container tracking, printable labels with QR codes, search, packing and move-day support, unpacking workflows, household collaboration, photo-based item capture, and related features.

Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure, providing accurate account information, and all activity that occurs under your account. You must be at least 18 years old to use the service. By using MoveAssist, you represent that you are at least 18 years old.

Household access

Moves may be shared with household members. You are responsible for who you invite and share with. Household members may be able to view or modify move information according to the permissions and access model in the product.

Gifted access

Some MoveAssist access may be purchased by one person or business and used by another person through a private access link.

  • The purchaser receives or is able to access a private gift link after purchase.
  • The recipient must create or sign in to their own account to redeem access.
  • Once redeemed, the access is tied to the recipient's account and applicable move or household context.
  • Gifted access is not transferable after redemption unless required by law.
  • The purchaser does not receive access to the recipient's move data merely because they purchased access.

Private link responsibility

Private gift or access links should be handled carefully. Anyone with a valid private link may be able to redeem the associated access. You are responsible for sharing private links securely and only with the intended recipient.

If a link is lost or needs to be replaced, MoveAssist may, but is not obligated to, reissue access after reasonable verification.

User responsibility

You are responsible for verifying item locations, labels, notes, automated tags, search results, and the handling of your belongings during your move. MoveAssist may assist with organization and tracking, but you remain responsible for your move and your property.

MoveAssist is not responsible for lost, damaged, delayed, or misplaced items, or for decisions made based on information provided by the service.

Move Pass and paid access purchases

  • Some features require paid access, including a Move Pass or a gifted-access purchase.
  • Purchases are processed by Stripe.
  • Trial access may be offered in the product.
  • Paid access unlocks features as described in the app at the time of purchase or redemption.
  • Payments are non-refundable except where required by law.
  • A Move Pass applies to a single move and is non-transferable unless expressly stated otherwise in the product.
  • Feature availability may change over time.

Refunds and reissues

Lost or inaccessible gifted links may be reissued in our discretion after reasonable verification. Refunds are not guaranteed once access has been issued, redeemed, or materially used, except where required by law.

Acceptable use

  • No misuse of the service.
  • No unauthorized access attempts.
  • No illegal, harmful, fraudulent, or infringing content.
  • No interference with service operations, billing systems, or security controls.
  • No attempts to access another user's household, move, or data without authorization.

Service availability

We work to keep MoveAssist available and reliable, but uninterrupted or error-free service is not guaranteed. Maintenance, incidents, outages, third-party failures, or feature changes may occur. MoveAssist may modify, suspend, or discontinue part of the service at any time.

No warranty and limitation of liability

MoveAssist is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, MoveAssist disclaims all warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, reliability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted availability.

MoveAssist is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, loss of access, lost profits, or loss or damage relating to personal property or the handling of belongings during a move.

You remain responsible for verifying the handling and location of your belongings and for using your own judgment during the move process.

Changes to the service or terms

Features may change over time, and we may update these Terms. Continued use of MoveAssist after updates means you accept the revised Terms.

Termination and account access

We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms, misuse, fraud, payment disputes, or security concerns. Upon termination, access to your move data may be limited or removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable law.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Hampshire, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in courts located in New Hampshire, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
