Terms of Service

Service Description

MoveAssist is a household organization platform that may include:

• collections
• containers
• QR labels
• photo storage
• search
• household sharing
• related features

MoveAssist is an organizational tool. MoveAssist is not a moving company, storage provider, insurance provider, brokerage service, logistics company, appraisal service, or inventory verification service.

Search Accuracy and Automated Features

Search results, OCR text extraction, object recognition, automated tags, labels, and generated metadata may be incomplete, inaccurate, or outdated. You are solely responsible for verifying container contents, item locations, and other information before relying on information provided by the service.

Personal Property Responsibility

MoveAssist does not take possession of, store, transport, inspect, verify, monitor, or control any property. You remain solely responsible for tracking, securing, transporting, storing, and verifying your belongings.

Household Members

Household members may view, modify, relabel, move, update, or delete shared household information according to product permissions. MoveAssist is not responsible for actions taken by invited household members.

Accounts

You are responsible for your account credentials, invited members, and household activity. Keep your login information secure and only invite people you trust to access your household.

Plans and Payments

• Plans belong to households.
• Capacity limits apply and are shared by the household.
• Purchases are processed through Stripe.
• Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
• Features, pricing, plan limits, and available functionality may change over time. New features or services may require an additional purchase or subscription.

User Responsibility

You are solely responsible for verifying container contents, labels, notes, search results, locations, and inventory records. MoveAssist assists organization but does not guarantee accuracy. You should maintain independent records of important information, and MoveAssist is not intended to serve as the sole repository for critical records.

User Content

You retain ownership of content you upload. You grant MoveAssist a limited worldwide license to host, store, process, reproduce, analyze, and display uploaded content solely for operating, maintaining, improving, and supporting the service.

Acceptable Use

• No unauthorized access to accounts, households, systems, or data.
• No attempts to bypass limits, permissions, billing controls, or security features.
• No interference with service operations, availability, or infrastructure.
• No illegal activity, fraudulent use, or abuse of other users.

Service Availability

MoveAssist may modify, suspend, interrupt, replace, or discontinue features at any time. MoveAssist may introduce additional paid features, service tiers, or subscription offerings in the future. If MoveAssist permanently discontinues the Service, we may provide advance notice when reasonably practicable, and user content or account information may be deleted subject to applicable law. Service availability is not guaranteed.

No Warranty

MoveAssist is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, availability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MoveAssist LLC, its owners, employees, contractors, affiliates, and representatives shall not be liable for lost property, misplaced items, inventory inaccuracies, lost data, lost profits, business interruption, indirect damages, incidental damages, consequential damages, special damages, or punitive damages.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MoveAssist's maximum aggregate liability shall not exceed the greater of (a) amounts paid to MoveAssist during the preceding twelve months, or (b) $50 USD.

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless MoveAssist LLC and its owners, employees, contractors, and affiliates from claims arising from misuse of the service, violation of these Terms, violation of law, uploaded content, or actions of invited household members.

Arbitration and Class Action Waiver

To the maximum extent permitted by law, any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or MoveAssist will be resolved by binding arbitration on an individual basis. You and MoveAssist waive the right to participate in a class action, class arbitration, private attorney general action, or other representative proceeding. You and MoveAssist also waive the right to a jury trial where permitted by law.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Hampshire, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Future Products and Services

Future products, premium functionality, AI capabilities, integrations, or services may be offered separately and are not included with existing plans unless expressly stated.
